Fence slats are cut to size to fit your gate's width and height. The panels just need to be slotted into the back of the gate secured with the locking plates provided. The locinox locking system within the gates frame comes fully assembled. The slam plate and strike-plate hole needs to be fixed after the gate is hung and locking post is in place. This is easily done and only 2 holes are needed to be drilled into the locking post. Full installation guides are provided which provide more detail.Select your hinge option:

You can choose between the option of a hinge post or a hinge plate.

Hinge Post

Generally used when the gate is being installed where there is no current solid surface to fix the gate to, e.g in the middle of a new fence run.If you choose the option of a hinge post you will be provided with a post that can be sunk into the ground and secured with concrete.

Hinge Plate

Generally used when the gate is being fixed to a flat solid surface such as a wall, e.g between two brick pillars or on the side of a house.

If you choose the option of a hinge plate you will be provided with a hinge plate that 40mm longer than the height of the gate (to allow for ground clearance). This plate will need to be secured to a flat solid surface such as a brick wall on the side of a house. Bolt fixing holes are pre-drilled into the hinge plate. All hinge plates have a 75mm privacy return so they'll be no gap to see through where the gate hangs off the hinge plate.

Locking Post

The locking post will normally always be the 2330mm or the same height as the hinge plate/post unless other requirements are needed. This post is not load-bearing.
