Where are they used
They can be used to sit on top of your new composite fence panel as shown in the picture. They would normally sit on top of the aluminium top rail.
Cutting
Our composite trellis' can be easily to size using normal woodworking tools. The easiest way to cut boards however is using a Mitre Saw (Chop Saw) with a fine tooth blade. The sides of the trellis' have been designed slightly wider to allow for cutting to fit existing concrete posts.
Information
Alpha Composite Trellis' are made from 60% recycled wood fibres and 40% recycled plastic which is then mixed additives and bonding agents. This combination makes our trellis designs inherently stronger, more durable and free from the inherent problems of traditional timber trellis' with ours being resistant to rot, decay, and insect damage, and require little to no yearly maintenance with no painting or staining needed.
Our trellis' are water and weatherproof, able to withstand high amounts of wind, rain, sun, and other outdoor elements. Unlike traditional timber fencing when subjected to the great British weather, our panels will not warp, crack, or splinter.
They have a same slight wood grain finish on both sides so you get a great look whatever side of the fence you are on.
Install with composite posts and existing concrete posts as they sit perfectly within our u channel inserts
